Did you know that we launched Bangalore's first kombucha on tap in June 2022 at Phobidden Fruit in Indiranagar? Our founder Honey, had always been fascinated with non-alcoholic craft beverages. Combining her passion for gut health and craft brewing, we wanted to bring something special for Bangaloreans. Thats how the idea of putting kombucha on tap (like craft beers) came into existence. BY no means, it was an easy task to explore a format that was never tested for kombucha before. Sourcing the right equipments that suited kombucha became a priority. Thanks to the businesses who started catering to the the nascent kombucha industry our dream to have kombucha served fresh from the tap was getting closer. Our first restaurant partner - Phobidden Fruit has been a backbone in starting a draft kombucha culture in city.

Mountain Bee Kombucha was born out of a necessity, to make way for kombucha into our homes and guts. Been based out of the city of craft beers, the culture rubbed off on us unknowingly. We saw ourselves combining the art and craft of brewing with functional probiotic beverages. Today we are proud of our experimental nature. Over the years, our brewing techniques became more and more sophisticated, our ingredients list expanded and brews got better and better. The one common denominator that still makes who we are the way we still make kombucha remains the same - unpasteurized, unfiltered, made with real ingredents, finest Indian teas and botanicals.
